The Long Beach Sharks had a busy week as they took to the ice for four games.
On Wednesday, the Sharks hosted the New Jersey Titans. The game was back and forth all game long, but in the end the Titans ended up on top. The team ran into a few too many penalties which ultimately contributed to the loss.

Saturday night’s game had a ton of offense on both sides. The Sharks once again fell behind 3-0 before Sam O’Neil scored a powerplay goal to send them into the first intermission down 3-1. The Sharks had a very strong second period with goals by Mason Jackson and Mason White. The offense continued in the third period with goals by Mason Jackson, JD DiTommaso, and Ross Temple, who scored his first career junior goal. The game went into overtime and Jay Montgomery put home the game-winner off a great set up by Mason Jackson.
Sunday’s game was a much tighter checking game where goals were harder to come by. The Sharks fell behind in the first giving up a short-handed and even-strength goal. Jackson Hampton responded right away cutting the Generals lead in half with a great pass from Devon Fay. The Sharks carried the play all game long but were unable to get any further past the Generals goalie, who had a standout performance.
The Sharks are headed up to Norwich this Saturday to take on the Sea Captains. Puck drop is at 7:15pm. Tune in on NAHL TV to catch the live action.
